Ven.Ngedon Rinpoche
Lama Ngedon Rinpoche was born in 1953 AD at the land of himalayas in manang, Nepal. When he was 14 years old his parents offered him to H.H. The 16th Karmapa,in whom he took refuge. H.H The 16th Karmapa Prophesied that in future Lama Ngedon Rinpoche will bring great benefit to the communities.For six years from the age of 13 he studied under the Guidance of H.H The 16th Karmapa and recieved numerous empowerments from H.H. and other Great Masters of Tibetan Buddhism. At the age of 19 he took novice vow and at 25 he took Bhikchhu vow as a fully ordained monk.He graduated from Rumtek monastery at the age of 27 and accompanied H.H. on dharma tours in the himalayan regions.At the age of 31 H.H. send him to undergo traditional 3 years retreat in Rumtek under the supervision of Ven.Bokar Rinpoche.
On completion of 3 years retreat H.H. sent him as his envoy to Pokhara Manang Gumba(monastery) in 1988 where he is serving as Head n Administrator till date.
